"I had spent ages looking for a horse. I tried loads and travelled miles. I was getting fed up with looking at wrongly described horses. So I made a call to Breen Equestrian explaining what I wanted. They knew exactly what I needed. I got a call from Shane telling me about a young bay gelding that would be suitable for eventing. When I tried him he was perfect and just what I wanted. I came back the next day with my trainer, hoping she would like him as much as me. And she did. The trial facilities were brilliant and there was never any pressure. My horse is now home and I am so pleased with him. He is just like Shane said he would be. Chloe really knew what I was talking about when I told her what I needed my horse for. I would always recommend Breen Equestrian. They are very honest and really know their horses."

When I called Breen Equestrian and I explained to Chloe what kind of horse I am looking for, she told me that they may have one and Shane would call me back. He did exactly as promised and after listing carefully to my story he said, he has exactly the horse I am looking for (Yeah, I heard that before...). Then he told me about Baskin and already during the phonecall I had this weird feeling, that after all I may have found my new horse. I had a very warm welcome at the yard. First Shane rode Baskin for me and jumped him over some really big fences, then I tried him (over much lower fences!). Shane took his time with me and after the testride in the big school he even went with me for a hack around Hickstead (Safe hacking was one of my basic requirements). This was on Saturday. I came back with my instructor on Sunday. Shane was great, he didn't interfere at all and gave us all the time we needed. And we enjoyed a cup of tea with Chloe afterwards while looking at Baskins passport and records. On Wednesday the following week, after passing a 5 stage vetting I bought Baskin and I never regretted this decision since. I love this horse so much, I can't put it into words. He is exactly what I was looking for and also exactly as Shane described him. We enjoy hacking on the South Downs, dressage lessons and (of course!) show jumping. I had Baskin for only 6 month when I won my first 1m class (after a competition break of 5 years!). Thanks Shane and Chloe!
